Just in time for the weekend! Another quick patch that fixes few issues and also implement a game feature that we were really looking forward to. Support teams!, that's right hard ballers, now the VC has a chance to deploy in the field with support teams such as snipers. In future versions RPG, PK, Mortars and Sappers.

Hi guys, new version is up and now we are happy to announce that the secondary objective missions are now in the game!! These are slightly harder missions with time constraints or NPC interaction that allow the player to change the pace of operations mid missions. It also allows the player to unlock very special power ups and special abilities via the 'kill cards'.
Secondary objectives have 1% per rank to appear after each patrols to appear on your tactical map. Of course, some ribbons in the game increase that rate.
We won't say to much about that for now and let you discover the new toys by yourselves. Feel free to share your findings on the forums.

New to Recon? Good. Because you know what? Pretty much everyone is new to Recon these days. Although the game packs a lot of depth and different options it is fairly easy to get going if you master the basics. Luckily for you guys we got the basics covered by Reinfrenchments here who dropped a lil gem of a Beginners Guide on the forum. Head onhere and increase your survivability beyond the LZ!!

Good day folks, Recon 1.0e is being uploaded with a some changes to the game and some new content as well. New weapons for our enemies, new HVTs and some fixes. Next? Recon is now patched to 1.0d. The goal of this patch was to render the game interface more friendly to the user with addition of shortcuts that selects soldiers, pause and mute. It also improved the map panning ability rendering everything more smoothly. We also added some new graphics made by one of our community member, Reid. Hit the news to see the exact details.

Good day folks. First, thanks for the incredible amount of interest and support for our latest project Mud and Blood: Recon. It's been a riot lately with the alpha testers and the rest of the community just going nuts over the new game.
Keep in mind the game is not finished and we will monitor the forums and do changes on the fly. Feel free to contribute and more importantly have fun!

Our editorial staff has put together the first edition of the Mud and Blood: Recon Newsletter, introducing you to the origins of the game and exposing the currently available information on the actual gameplay, with plenty of screenshots.
Rounding up the newsletter is the usual collection of quotes and funny material gathered from the community. Well worth a read - although it won't save you from being brutalized when the game finally roars out of the dev lab.
