Good day commanders. We have just uploaded the new fixes for the patch 1.0y with numerous goodies and stuff within. For the most part, 1.0y was a stable patch and required only a little polish. We invested the spare time in creating a new mission type and a new enemy unit.
Also some minor change to sounds and a (yet another) DShK fix. Stay tuned there will be a community event this weekend. Thanks for playing Recon and stay sharp out there!

Very exciting times for the mnb community as the upcoming months are packed with new methods of dispensing brutality and unfairness to the world. Here at mnb.net, the crew that makes you feel like a misfit when it comes to games, have worked really hard over the last year to drop the most unforgiving sand box military game known to flash.
Upcoming patch: Recon 1.0y, is just around the corner. Mostly including bug fixes, it also contains few nifty surprises like a watch, formations and other goodies that you will have to discover by yourself. This brings Recons to another level of immersion and realism moving closer to the end state. As usual, if you are reading this, it means that you are part of the developing process. Don't be shy, join us on the forums and drop your suggestion. If it make sense it'll be added to the game. It's that easy here.
Recon Release date: Recon will hit the main stream portals on 1st August 2015 after a full year of development. After countless hours of slavery, our community has produced a hardcore sandbox tactical game that can punch really hard. I'm proud of it. Obviously after that crucial date more content and patches will be produced in line with the input we get from the new community members.
New web site: To commemorate Recon's release, our new website will go live on the same date. The new webby is more portable and offer a complete cross platform experience topped with community driven content generation. That's right. Everyone is front page material now. Good day commanders, 1.0x has gone live featuring some scoring panel improvements. This is still the early version of a very different way to score your game but the general intent is to make the scoring experience more dynamic.
The patch also brings some bug fixes. There is few known issues such as the dishka sound glitch. Most of them being primary fixes so let's keep an eye out for these exceptions and make sure to report any problems you encounter. We hope you enjoy the new additions.

The latest fixes for the day/night cycle patch has been uploaded. Mostly addressing UI issues and some gameplay balance. Night now affects support such as Bird Dog and Cobras.

I'm happy to announce that MudandBlood Recon 1.0w will include day/night cycle!!
This allow us the commanders, to have a more realistic and immersive experience. The darkness offers an entirely new set of realities that change the way you will conduct your operations. Above all, it solidify the importance of deliberate and methodical movement. Taking a knee and looking around has just took another level of significance.

Well finally:) It is by far the biggest patch in term of content and game mechanics. Within this patch we reinforced the management side of the house allowing the player to have more control over his unit while adding more historical depth to the game. Now you really feel like you play the role of a decision maker who's trying to command his troops, appease his Bosses while killing the enemy. Also, the patch contains numerous new items and weapons that are all unlockable through Kill cards or ribbons. The enemy got new toys too so be careful out there. It is yours to discover the new Recon.
Oh and yall got a new gun. Just because you guys are awesome. Thanks for playing Recon!

Hey guys, just a quick heads up in order to inform you that I'm working on version v still and probably will not be able to release it today. The next patch has a lot of goodies but everything needs to be working well before I drop this bad boy on the community.
Also if you didn't knew, Samurai won the last Recon contest and his reward will be in the next version :)
